Give Me a Break

Training is fun but it can also be hard! Some of you may never have done much running while others may have trained for multiple races. Either way, there is always a risk of injury. Here are some signs your body needs a break.

  1. Decrease in your performance
  2. Increased muscle soreness
  3. Extreme fatigue
  4. Injury
  5. Illness
  6. Decreased enjoyment from exercise

Taking a break doesn’t mean you are quitting. Apply this to other areas of your life that you might be having these same feelings. A day off can be good for your body and mind. Use this time to regroup and refocus on your GOALS!

Remember, more is not always better. That is why Hy-Vee KidsFit only allows you to unlock one day at a time. Train safely friends!
