How To Do Burpees
Burpees are a harder version of the modified burpee.
According to leading exercise scientists, THE BURPEE is the MOST EFFECTIVE exercise. It targets all five dimensions of fitness: endurance, speed, agility, strength and flexibility.
- Starting in a standing position, bend down and place your hands on the floor.
- Step or jump your feet back to a high plank position, hold for one count.
- Step or jump your feet back towards your hands.
- Stand up or Jump up.
Challenge yourself with a fun game!
All you do:
- Start a timer
- 1 minute = 1 burpee
- 2 minute = 2 burpees
- 3 minute = 3 burpees
- Continue as long as you can until you can't complete the number of burpees in the amount of time.
My personal record is 16. It is tough but challenging and something you can measure. Write down your score so you can track your improvement!
