National Best Friend Day #HyVeeKidsFit

June 8th is National Best Friends Day. Call, text, email or tag a friend on social media to complete a fun challenge that is unique for just you and your Best Friend/Friends! Your Personalized Best Friends Day Challenge! #hyveekidsfit #nationalbestfriendsday

Here’s how you do it:

  1. How long have you know each other?
    • This will be how many Rounds of your Challenge
  2. What are your initials?
    • These letters will be the ‘code’ to put your Challenge together.
  3. Alternate with your Best Friend/Friends.
    • One person working at a time. This allows rest in the Challenge.
      • I would do 5 Plank Hop Overs, then friend would do 5 Plank Hop Overs. I would do 10 lunges, friend would do 10 lunges. Etc…

How to make the Challenge easier:

  • Only do your first and last initial.
  • Take a 1 minute rest between each round.
  • Make the exercise easier.
  • Decrease the number of rounds to something you and your friend agree upon.
    • If you & your friend have known each other for over 10 years. Consider using some of our modifications below.

For example:

  • My friend & I have known each other 3 years.
  • Our initials together would be DLD, MJR
