We want to help you love yourself and be confident in who you are.  In life, there will be situations where you don’t feel confident, but having a good self-image can help you not be afraid.  Here are four tips to improve your self-confidence!

  1. Focus on how you feel rather than how you look. Functionality is more important than appearance.
    • Is your body feeling energized?
    • How are you sleeping at night?
    • Can you focus at school?
      • Practice self-care to help feel in tune with your mind and body.
  2.  Eat respectfully, but not obsessively.
    • Eating nutrient rich foods like fruits and vegetables will give you the energy to do a lot of things. It's okay to have a special treat every now and then too, but worrying about the food you eat all the time can cause stress.
  3. Don’t compare yourself to others.
    • Health and fitness isn’t about being better than anyone else. It’s about being better than you were yesterday! No one looks the same as you because no one lives like you.
  4. Challenge yourself.
    • Challenging our bodies and minds to try something difficult helps us feel more confident in the future.

Your body can do so many amazing things, it's important to appreciate and respect it. Love the skin you’re in!
