Squat Challenge

Start the new year off on the right foot by making health a priority for your students and staff by accepting the Hy-Vee Squat Challenge! Commit to movement in your classroom this year with the SquatChallenge! It's as easy as 1, 2, 3!

  1. Pick any week in February.
  2. Join the School Wellness Club and register your class using the link in the welcome's email.*
  3. Complete as many squats as you can during your selected week.

Classroms who register will receive the Squat Challenge Toolkit with daily motivation, activities to get your students squatting, and health education!

 DAILY THEMES

  • Monday: GOALS
    Learn how to set goals that are right for your classroom. 
  • Tuesday: STRENGTH
    Build both physical and mental strength. 
  • Wednesday: PERSERVERENCE 
    Check in with your body to see how far you can push yourself. 
  • Thursday: DETERMINATION
    Stay positive even when the challenge gets tough. 
  • Friday: CELEBRATE
    Celebrate your classroom's hard work!

*Registration closes January 31st at 11:59 PM (CST). Each classroom must register separately and be within 50 miles of a Hy-Vee.
