Are you consuming enough fiber in your meals? Try to eat fruits, veggies and whole grains to boost your daily fiber intake.

What is the Daily REcommended Intake (RDI)?

  • Children 1-3 yrs old, 19 grams per day
  • Children 4-8 yrs old, 25 grams per day
  • Boys 9-13 yr old, 31 grams per day
  • Girls, 9-13 yrs old, 26 grams per day
  • Boys, 14-19 yrs old, 38 grams per day
  • Girls, 14-19 yrs old, 26 grams per day

Tips!

Make sure to increase fiber slowly. Drink plenty of watter to prevent any side effects. Your body will get used to and benefit from extra fiber over time.
