Learning the alphabet can be tricky, but it can also be fun! Increasing your knowledge and your vocabulary all while moving your body and staying active. Improving your knowledge of health and wellness means you are increasing your health literacy and making it easier to make everyday health decisions. It’s also a great way to exercise your brain, which is just as important as exercising your body. A stronger brain can lead to improved memory, better performance in school, and a happier you. Overall, it makes everyday life easier.
Each link in the chain will have a word starting with the next letter in the alphabet. Take the chance to learn a new word or idea, then scan the QR Code for a link to a related activity to do together!
Here’s How You Do It:
- Print off the KidsFit Alphabet (if no printer available, each video is linked in the yellow circle)
- Cut at the dotted line
- Lay out each link in alphabetical order
- Construct your paper chain by using tape.
- Pull one link a day to learn a new letter and a new word.
- Repeat.
