Activity Jar
Download worksheetHave you ever said to your mom or dad, “I’m bored.”? The activity jar will help you and your family spend less time sitting in front of the television or playing video games and more time being active and doing things together as a family.
Have everyone in the family write 5-10 fun active things to do. Put them in the jar.
The next time you get bored, pick an activity out of the jar and get moving!
Here are some activities I came up with:
- Going swimming at the local lake or pool
- Have a dance party
- Learn to cook something new
- Go on a bike ride
Take the time to decorate the jar creatively so you can keep it out on the counter so it can easily be seen!
